Announcements, Invitations, and Custom Stationary

I enjoy entertaining and I have thrown a lot of showers and parties for my family and friends. I have found that invitations and paper products can be expensive and the designs are so generic. What I like to do is paint a custom piece of artwork in acrylic paint on watercolor paper or canvas (something that ties in with the theme of the event). I frame the original art give the original painting as a gift to the guest of honor. I scan in the design for the invitations. I like to paint cartoon-like caricatures of the guest of honor or symbols of the party theme (i.e., wedding flowers, nursery bedding, hobbies) and turn them into fun and original invitations. I also use the designs for menu tent cards and thank you notes.
